Siberia Airlines is recognized as a leader in the Russian Aviation market, and one of the region's fastest growing airlines. By effectively leveraging knowledge and experience garnered from previous generations of aviators, and by applying modern business processes and technologies, Siberia has become the 2nd largest Airline in Russia, based on number of passengers.
Today, Siberia offers the largest network of flights in Russia with service to all major cities within Russia and CIS. The company operates over 100 daily flights, including over 40 flights from Moscow.
The Airline's major hubs are located in Novosibirsk, Moscow and Irkutsk. In 2002, Siberia Airlines celebrated a decade of service with accelerated growth in all production and financial indicators.
Siberia maintains a fleet of over 40 aircraft, including Airbus 310, TU-204, IL-86 and TU-154. Most of the aircraft are equipped with business class sections. Siberia continues to work to modernize and expand its fleet and its services even further.
Siberia's commitment to service and safety is supported by one of the largest Aviation Maintenance complexes in Russia. Certified facilities in Novosibirsk and Moscow provide all service and maintenance to the Siberia fleet.
In the past few years, Siberia Airlines intensified its efforts to implement Interline Agreements with other airlines. Such agreements allow airlines to accept each others travel documents including tickets and vouchers. To date, 55 such agreements have been put in place.
Siberia Airlines is one of the top 50 Airlines in the world based on its internal network traffic and one of top 100 based on leading industry indicators.
In 2003, Siberia Airlines was ranked first among Russian airlines in Domestic volume and second in the overall number of passengers served. In 2003 alone, the airline served 3.4 million passengers.
In 2003, Siberia Airlines was the first Russian company to be awarded the Flight International Aerospace Award for "Corporate Strategy". This was followed by the Air Transport "Market Leadership" award in February 2004. |
